As a photographer, I believe in serving my clients the same way I would want to be served. I believe in timeless photographs that are passed on to future generations. And I believe in documenting life. The funny moments. The exciting moments. And the sweet moments where a single tear falls down her cheek as her newborn is placed in her arms.
I was the girl who loved numbers and a good pair of high heels.
My career began with finance. It was during an entrepreneurship class while pursuing my graduate degree when the thought of photography came into my life. How you ask? Well, my biggest problem at that time was figuring out how to use my new DSLR camera. And, that’s where my photography journey began.
Since then, I spent my time with family and friends, married the cute IT guy, and dedicated my free time to learning everything about photography and improving my skills. I attended workshops and learned about the art of motherhood. I researched styles and found a look that I love, which is a mixture of both digital and film mediums. I enjoy photographing mothers and newborns and moments of laughter within families. I am lucky enough to be in the business of capturing some of the most intimate and emotional moments in life for the people who invite me into their days.
In my spare time you can find me at home enjoying newlywed life with my husband and our two pups, snacking on dark chocolate, and catching up on the latest Fixer Upper episodes (I’m going to be heartbroken when Chip and Jo are off the air!).
