Q + A

Have a few questions about working with me? Check out the answers below, which provide insight into a session. If those answers don’t hit the spot, feel free to send me an email at ashleylandryphotography@gmail.com – I love chatting about photography!

As a Lifestyle Photographer, what do you capture?

With each photograph, I aim to capture life in the raw, real moments. Whether that is shooting maternity photographs with a new mother, capturing the details of a newborn,  or just taking photographs with your family. Quite often I shoot outside in natural light throughout Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas.

How far should I book you in advance?

Typically four weeks in advance. Newborn sessions are photographed during the week. For other sessions, I am available weekday afternoons and Saturdays.

What if I have to reschedule my session time?

Since most sessions are shot outside and vary depending on Mother Nature, I may need to reschedule your session to make sure you receive the best backdrop for your photographs. If weather issues arise, I will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule.

When should I expect to receive my photographs from our session?

You will receive your final edited high resolution photographs three weeks after your session. Your photographs will include both color and black and white images.

Can I print my photos anywhere?

Yes! Once you receive your photographs, you can print your photographs as you please. Also, I offer the ability to purchase high-quality prints through me.

This sounds great! How can I book a session?

Please email photography inquiries to ashleylandryphotography@gmail.com regarding which session you would be interested in (e.g. maternity, newborn, family, etc.)! Feel free to include any fun details about your family so we can begin creating your session!

Lifestyle sessions start at $250.00. Emails are usually answered within 48 hours of being received.

Once you book your session, I love to learn a little more about you and your family and what type of photography you love. Based on what I learn, I prep a few poses and family interactions that will be fun to try during the session. Have a pose you have always wanted to try? Feel free to let me know! I love when clients come prepared with ideas. But, don’t worry, if you don’t have any particular in mind, I have plenty.
