I like traveling. I have always said that I would love to visit all fifty states at least once in my life. I have no idea how many states I have actually visited (I probably need to make a list and add some new locations to my bucket list), but I enjoy planning trips each year.
Our list trip was over the Thanksgiving holidays where Charles and I headed to Colorado to spend the holidays with family. We met my parents as well as my niece and nephew in Steamboat Springs. The drive from Denver to Steamboat Springs… Well, as woman from the south who hardly ever sees snow… It was beautiful!
Our first day there, Charles and I took my nephew and niece hiking through Fish Creek Falls and sledding by Rabbit Ears Pass. For two kids who had never seen snow before, my niece and nephew loved it. During that time of the year, the hiking trail was still easy to walk as we made our way to the falls.
Our second day in Steamboat Springs, we woke up to snow.
We visited the different areas around Steamboat, and ended our day with a gondola ride.
By the last day of our trip, the snow was melting. We ended our trip with a big Thanksgiving dinner with family!
Loved my e-vacation with y’all! Priceless moments captured on film for sharing, LOVE IT!
