Happy Monday! I’m excited because it is the beginning of the month, and I get to share my photography from May. I began writing these posts as a way to stay motivated, and I’m so glad I did because they keep me inspired during the month to see where I can share a story.
May began a little tricky for me because I encountered a few air conditioning issues. Luckily, everything was fixed quickly and all this happened now rather than closer to August and that heat – dodged a bullet on that one! I celebrated a few birthdays this month and shared a few laughs with friends. For Memorial Day, I had the privilege to shoot a few photographs of Bailey. She is a sweet kid who has a birthday coming soon and needed a few shots. I can’t wait to share those photographs in an upcoming post this week – stay tuned! And last week, I finally made a decision and purchased a new laptop. It was time. My old laptop and I made it through undergraduate and graduate school and the creation of a blog. We had history. However, I’m happy with my new purchase. This new guy is great – fast, clear, upgraded programs, has space. I can’t wait to see what I create with it.
Now, on to the most important part… My photographs from May. Enjoy!
<The final days with my faithful Mac.>
<Weeknights just embracing the summer showers in the evening and relaxing with old episodes of the West Wing.>
<As a blogger, I enjoy finding blogs, checking out content, and leaving comments. Usually after I post, I spend time the next day showing support to fellow bloggers. On one of those days, I stumbled upon a food blog with a recipe for Sticky Honey Jalapeño Island Chicken. You can see the recipe here. The photographs looked delicious. The recipe seemed very easy. Needless to say, I was hooked and gave it a try. And… It was so good! If you are looking for a new recipe, give it a shot!>
<Fair warning… If you cook the above recipe, you may receive flowers the next day… At least that is what happened to me… Yes, that recipe was that GOOD.>
<I couldn’t resist shooting squeaky clean puppy paws after an afternoon bath for Jack.>
Now off to enjoy the month of June and the summer and the warmer weather and vacations and all this season brings! Do y’all have anything special planned for June?
