Happy Saturday! How is your weekend going?
My Saturday has me thinking a little bit. I’ve been thinking about photography the last few weeks. Especially photography related to my blogging goals. I posted a few weeks ago about wanting to take more pictures and using my camera more. If you missed that post, you can check it out here. I’ve been trying to think of ways that would motivate me and inspire me and and keep me creative with my camera. It is little harder than I thought.
I’m great at using my camera for vacations. I even do pretty well with using it around the holidays, birthdays, and family gatherings. Other than that, I just don’t take lots of pictures with it. My problem: How do I get inspired with the ordinary, daily life? How can I see it differently? My solution (maybe): Create a blogging category around it and track my progress.
The hardest part for me is feeling confident in my photos and what I capture. The more I do this, the more I enjoy shooting. I want that to continue. So, I am trying out this idea. I want to post at the end of each month a photography recap of what I have taken. I have been taking my camera with me more. I’m learning. I came up with this idea a few days ago. So, January may be a little small.
Well, here goes. I call this my January “learning experiences”.
As you can see, it is full on Mardi Gras prep mode over here. And that cute pup… Well, meet Jack. He is a rescue pup that has been a part of the family for five years now, and life would be boring without him.
This is where I am at. I’m ready for the next twenty-eight days filled with creativity. So long, January. Until the next month. Any tips for staying creative throughout the month?
Enjoy your weekend everyone!
Side Note: I learned how to do a photo gallery on the blog. Yay! If you click on the photos they will enlarge. You can see them bigger, and you can scroll through all the photos. Those late nights “googling” have finally paid off.
February will begin with party, then begin the journey to the passion. Just putting that out there. Enjoying your creative side!
