One of my unspoken goals each year is to travel to a new state. It is always in the back of my mind. I want to see places that I have never seen. I want to walk in places that I never imagined I would step foot on. I want to know places that I never thought I could know and hear stories from people I never thought I would meet. Every year when trips are being planned, that is the goal in the back of my mind. And it puts a huge smile on face when it gets completed.
Last Sunday, I marked that goal complete for this year. I had the opportunity to embark on a quick trip to Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I stayed in the beautiful and historic Carolina Inn. Immediately walking in the doors you could see the history that surrounded this place. I can only imagine the stories of creativity and inspiration and life those walls have heard throughout the years. And for a few short days, I was able to be a part of its story…
Take a minute and meet the beautiful Carolina Inn and experience a little taste of fall… Enjoy!
Love the story and pics! Glad you enjoyed.
